KISSAR & MERCENARY CITIES
Where Gold Glitters, Secrets Burn, and Anything Can Be Bought.
The cities of Partha Terra are generally clean, safe, and peaceful. However, even in the most beautiful gardens, there are snakes in the grass. Law and order can’t be everywhere, especially in a city owned by gangsters. Meet the Kissar: a mercenary force on Royal, one of the planet’s most populated cities. Every race, species, and traveler under the stars can be found here—from off-world traders to pleasure-seekers and warlords. Casinos, saloons, exotic shows, and black market tech are just a few of the city’s many draws. If it exists, you can find it here—for a price. Mansions hide behind fortress walls, and deals are sealed in shadow. It's a place where the rich rule in luxury, and the poor gamble for a chance to taste it.
Chaos and color. Underneath the Kissar’s ruthless boss, Dillion, the human-dominated city pulses with neon lights, opulence, and vice. Beautiful, brutal, mysterious, and mercenary—this is a city where anything is possible… and everything is for sale.
LORE
GAMEPLAY
The ultimate wildcard faction, blending Ulthwan, Trolls, Dwarger, and even Razium tech into one flexible force. Their core troops are solid but less armored than Razium, less melee-focused than Federation, and slower than Dru Nar. What they lack in specialization, they make up for in unmatched versatility—giving every General a toolkit to adapt and dominate any battlefield.
CORE STRATEGY
Versatile Role:
This is hands-down the most flexible faction in Partha Wars, capable of incorporating elements from every other army.
Combined Arms:
With so many upgrade and unit options, commander-issued Orders can turn even a basic squad into one of the strongest on the board.
Transport Options:
Like the Federation, transport vehicles will soon become a major tactical asset for this force as the system evolves.
Key Units and Roles:
Dwarger:
Dwarger—dwarven engineers—bring serious tactical depth. They can equip nearly every special weapon in the game, making them adaptable and dangerous against any threat.
Mercenaries:
Mercenaries have solid line units, but one of their biggest advantages is the ability to customize squads with named heroes, Ulthwan, Monks, and other specialists to suit your playstyle.
Rogues of Erach
Among the best snipers in the game, they offer elite-range pressure and disruption.
Powerful Named Characters
Includes powerful named characters like Walker, Tasha, and Vangel.
TIPS:
Prioritize Objectives:
Use the combined options squads and orders ability to seize key objectives early. The fire power from suits and combat from character options with give you staying power.
Utilize Special Weapons Effectively:
They have such a huge range of weapons- use them effectively. The most notable weapon unit is the Roges of Erach- the best snipers in the game- use this squad to funnel enemy units to where you can hit them hard.
Plan for Counter-Attacks:
Other forces have large beefy enemies- try not to get hit by them with small forces - hold or weaken them when they counter.
BEST FOR PLAYERS WHO:
Best for players who love flexibility, customization, and creative list-building. Those who enjoy mixing and matching units, tech, and magic from across Partha Terra to craft powerful combos and tailor their force to any situation.
Toolbox-style armies and high customization.
Unique, themed lists with elite units and black-market flair.
Blend strategy, synergy, and character-driven combos over raw power.
-
Most Flexible Army in the Game
Access to units, weapons, tech, and characters from multiple factions (Razium, Drunar, Federation, Aun’ka, etc.).
No two Mercenary armies need to look the same—build your list around your playstyle.
Unique Characters & Heroes
Includes powerful named characters like Walker, Tasha, and Vanghel.
Strong synergy with upgrades and can lead elite mixed squads effectively.
Swiss Army Knife Playstyle
Can adapt to almost any mission type or enemy strategy.
Line units can be enhanced with specialists, giving them roles far beyond their cost.
Access to Elite Support in Line units (Ulthwan, Monks, Dwarger)
Add durability, melee punch, or tech power to squads.
Dwarger engineers are a standout option—access to almost all special weapons.
Orders and Combo Potential
Orders system works well with their flexible squads, letting even basic units become top-tier with proper buffs and upgrades.
Sniper and Assassin Units
Units like Rogues of Erach offer elite-range pressure and disruption—among the best snipers in the game.
Strong Objective Play
Can build units specifically around mission control, tanking, or area denial depending on matchup.
-
“Jack of All Trades, Master of None” Risk
With so many options, Mercs can lack a clear identity or focus if not built carefully.
You can master a role, but only if you pick a lane and build around it.
No True Specialty
Not the best shooters (Razium), not the best melee (Federation), not the fastest (Drunar).
Relies on synergy and smart list design to compete with more focused factions.
Vulnerable to Overextension
Fancy toys don’t guarantee survival. Low armor on standard units makes them vulnerable if not well supported.
Large, flashy combos can be wasted if countered or misused.
Complex Army Building
Requires a strong grasp of multiple unit types and combos from across the game.
Easy to overload your force with disjointed pieces that don’t support each other.
Steep Learning Curve
The General (that’s you) must have a clear tactical vision—this army rewards planning, not brute force.
