Beneath twin moons and skies once ruled by dragons, the world of Partha Terra thrives—a realm where raw magic pulses through the land, steampunk cities stretch toward the stars, and a fragile peace teeters on the edge of a forgotten legacy. From the labyrinthine mysteries of the old world to the clanging heart of arcane technology, this planet is a crucible of wonder and war.
Long ago, dragons served as the gatekeepers of the Labyrinthian, the ancient source of magical flow across the world. But over centuries, their pride festered into greed. Twisted by power, the dragons fell, driven back by the united strength of mortals. In the power vacuum, a new order emerged. The Federation Lok Council, guided by wise artificers and mages known as Loks, ushered in a golden age of magic and steam. That peace shattered when the Razium arrived—defeated in a war among the stars, desperate to rebuild, and seeking a rare metal: Arcanium, capable of holding runes, lightening steel, and changing the tide of any war.
The Razium underestimated Partha Terra. Dismissing the planet as primitive, they were caught off-guard when the King of Sparta walked through a Labyrinthian portal—onto their flagship—with Spartan Paladins at his side. The demonstration of magical might forced a parlay. A truce was forged. Magic and technology were exchanged. But before long, an older enemy returned: the dragons. A devastating war followed, and only through unity did the Federation and Razium manage to bring down Cathoniaxe, the Dragon Lord. The spires of Dragora fell, and the Draki scattered into legend—some whisper, into alliance with the enigmatic Dru Nar Elves, hidden behind illusions older than memory itself.
In a once-thriving world powered by alien tech and magic, betrayal shattered peace. Nemsor Vaul of the Razium overthrew the King to seize control of the Labyrinthian, a hidden power source. The heir, Prince Lincoln, vanished, and the key was entrusted to General Matias. Seven years later, with the realm in disarray, rumors suggest Lincoln has been found—and the Labyrinthian may soon be reopened. The Razium believe they’ve found him—and with him, a way to reopen the Labyrinthian.
It’s up to you to decide the fate of this world. Will you defend the Federation, aid the invaders, or forge your own destiny? The LOK must be found. And you must choose a side.

The Western supercontinent of Ultima Prime—once known as Odiun—is the political and technological heart of the world. United under the Federation, it spans seven great provinces: Palance, Lyconia, Meridion, Atlantioc, Essex, O’cea, and Centron Dragora. In its capital, Sparta, stand the legendary Gates of the Labyrinthian, the magical nexus that ties the world together—and threatens to unmake it.
To the East lies the vast and ancient land of Ultima Thule, or Zeriun. Wilder, older, and steeped in mystery, Zeriun is home to the desert-bound Aun Ka, the elusive sea-splinter sects of the Dru Nar Elves, and the Quan Isles, rumored to house forgotten elemental titans. Here, Troll’kul, Eastern Jotunn, and Oni roam jagged lands with fierce autonomy. And from the icy cliffs of Insula Gardari, strange winds whisper that dragons may yet rise again.
PLAYTEST
Yes, that’s right — we’re letting you help us make this amazing game!
In the next few weeks, we’re going to open this phenomenal game for playtesting. When I wrote this, I wanted to make sure it was fun, smart, cinematic, and inclusive. I want this to be loved by all — and that means I want you to help.
This is Partha Wars: A Lok Miniatures Game in development by Catalyst Game Labs, Tommy Rice, and now — the community. The playstyle sits firmly alongside games like Warhammer 40K, Star Wars: Legion, Warmachine, and Kill Team — but with rules and concepts never seen before. Catalyst goes all out — and that’s exactly what we’ve done.
NOW, CATALYST HAS ANNOUNCED THIS GAME, BUT NOT A SPECIFIC RELEASE DATE!
As such, please keep these details within your gaming group for now!
We want your best ideas and feedback. Not all the rules will be available at first, but we’ll begin to show off what we’re building and ensure the experience shines. Sign up now to get all the details.
Let me tell you a bit about it!
-
These miniatures will be fully assembled but unpainted. “30mm” scale — like Warhammer or Star Wars… only a little bigger, and even cooler.
-
Art: Dive into a quick visual feast of the characters and world of Partha Wars.
Rules: Obviously, the rules of the game, and an opening welcome letter.
Army Samples: Once you’ve read the rules, there are two ways to play. First is the Quick start rules down below. Second is use The 7 Laws of War (This can be found on the last section explaining the list creating and making a list as you normally would for a game. Agree on points and create. Either way the stat cards provide the information, special rules, and points to make a list to play.
Missions: When the rules reference “choose a Mission,” here is where you’ll look!
Order Cards: A selection of cards that allow some customization before the battle starts. You will need to print these out and use for gameplay.
-
Some units with rules won’t have stat cards in the playtest: vehicles, fliers and certain monsters, for instance. They’ll come in a future playtest cycle.
Additionally, we always want to give credit where it’s due—so every player mentioned in your playtesting group’s feedback will appear in the rulebook.
We’ll share all the specific dates and details with everyone who signs up. When you turn in your notes, we’ll select a few lucky people to receive some fun swag and help with the final phase of playtesting—so make it count!
As always, thank you so much for your valuable time and skills in helping make this the best game it can be!
