Partha Wars Tabletop Game Dru Nar Crest

The Dru nar Elves

The Elerosse-Leflin-Seana Drannar Eldra Elves hail from hidden lands far to the east and west—mystical realms long isolated after the dragons betrayed the world out of greed. Proud but not arrogant, they rarely consort with outsiders, especially under the rule of the stoic Elf Lord Moncul.

That all changed when his vain son, Prince Tusho, broke sacred elven law by wielding a cursed weapon to end a war—unleashing an ancient demon in the process. Though aided by the living marble guardians known as the Phenii, Tusho’s recklessness brought disgrace upon his house. As punishment, the king cut his hair—marking him as Shorn, a title of eternal shame—and exiled him and his followers to the human world.

Now a bitter outcast, Tusho blames humanity for his downfall. Clad in enchanted Phenii armor and backed by loyal Trolls, he has seized control of half of the criminal city of Royal, using its chaos to fuel both his revenge and his rising power. Allied with the dangerous Razium and smuggling weapons into Federation cities, Tusho’s influence continues to spread—and now, he commands a dragon of his own.

GAMEPLAY

The Dru Nar Outcasts are fast, cunning, and deadly—far from their regal Sea Dru Nar kin. These city-dwelling tricksters rely on deception, superior Reflex (the highest in the game), and hit-and-run tactics. Their unique Thraft firepower and lightning-fast strikes let them outmaneuver enemies and exploit weaknesses before anyone can react.

CORE STRATEGY

Mobility and Speed:

Dru nar units are faster than those of other factions. They all have the (dodge X) rule to survive. What can’t be hit, usually lives. Also, their orders allow them to quickly seize objectives, outmaneuver enemy forces, and dictate the flow of battle.

Seers:

Seers  can unleash powerful magic abilities to buff their own units, debuff enemy units, or directly inflict damage.

The Phenii, Trolls and Gnomes:

The creatures of myth and nature from the forest still remain as allies. The Phenii are Guardians made of what looks like living marble, durable, and they have a terrible secret, for they are truly mother nature’s monsters. Trolls come from Oni to the east. They are strong and durable, they do they heavy lifting and can hold flanks by themselves. Gnomes, help keep the trolls in order and use their cunning to help the brutes stay in battle.

Flexibility and Variety:

While they are known for their mobility, and quick Elf armies can be built around different playstyles, Phenii constructs or trolls for durability, or Elio knights the elite Warriors for specialized combat roles.

Fragility:

A key weakness of Dru nar is their relative fragility. Though they can be upgraded with Trolls and they have the Phenii, marble creatures of great power. They can be defeated in close combat by well armored foes or can be gunned down with overwhelming firepower if they are caught out of position or overextended.

Well Rounded:

The Dru nar are a well rounded Faction, but go from “great” to “amazing” with the assistance of Dragons

Key Units and Roles:

Seers:

Seers  can unleash powerful magic abilities to buff their own units, debuff enemy units, or directly inflict damage.

Phenii:

Durable constructs with hidden power. The Phenii are Guardians made of what looks like living marble, durable, and they have a terrible secret, for they are truly mother nature’s monsters.

Trolls

Resilient flank holders. Trolls come from Oni to the east. They are strong and durable, they do they heavy lifting and can hold flanks by themselves.

Gnomes

Support/control units that synergize with Trolls. Gnomes, help keep the trolls in order and use their cunning to help the brutes stay in battle.

Dragons

Devastating units that elevate offense and threat projection.

Prioritize Positioning and Speed:

Use terrain to your advantage and exploit your superior reflex when you engage opponents.

Make Use of Orders and Creatures:

These tools can be used to enhance your army's capabilities and disrupt your opponent's plans. Also, the Dru nar orders really increase the fluidity of the army. Take advantage.

Plan Your Attacks Carefully:

Coordinate your units to focus charge or fire on the enemy. This maximizes your damage output and minimizes your losses.

Be Mindful of Your Army's Weaknesses:

Protect your fragile units from enemy attacks and avoid being caught in prolonged firefights. Stick and move.

    • Devastating units that elevate offense and threat projection.

  • Fragile Core Units

    • Elves are elite but squishy—bad positioning = dead units.

    • Vulnerable to mass firepower and strong melee when caught flat-footed.

    High Skill Ceiling

    • Requires careful planning, movement, and coordination.

    • Mistakes are hard to recover from due to low durability.

    Low Numbers

    • Elite army means fewer units on the board—can struggle with board control if overwhelmed.

    Reliance on Positioning and Orders

    • Orders and mobility are crucial—if pinned, their effectiveness drops fast.

    • Outplayed in positioning? You’re in trouble.

    Glass Cannon Style

    • High damage potential, but poor in drawn-out fights or attrition battles.

    • Dru nar work best when you dictate the pace instead of reacting. This is not a Faction for a passive playstyle.
