Partha Wars Tabletop Game Federation Crest

The FEDERATION PRIME

Strength. Honor. Unity.

The Kingdom of the Federation Prime is the dominant power on the continent of Ultima Prime, a land rich in resources, traditions, and history. It is the heart of civilization and the most influential political and military force in the known world.

Forged by the legendary Line of Tor, who united the scattered territories and whos Lok masters learned the mysterious Labrynthian, once the Dragons, the original protectors, fell. the Prime thrives on unity, resilience, and a deep sense of duty. Though less advanced than their cosmic technological rivals the Razium the Federation Green artificer school has learned much of Razium technology reverse engineering it and now have almost caught them on scope. Regardless, the people of Prime—the Primeriens—are known for their grit, intelligence, and indomitable spirit.

At the heart of the Kingdom’s strength lies its powerful leadership. A King rules as both the political head and supreme commander of the armies, advised by a high council of the 12 most wise leaders and Lok mages and flanked by elite generals. In times of war, the revered Spartan Paladins—led by champions that can manipulate the Magnus or magnetic properties—take to the battlefield, unmatched in honor and combat prowess.

Objective Control:

Their ability to use the Magnus to move other units off the objective, coupled with their melee abilities, allows them to dominate the mid-board and being Line units allows them to control primary and secondary objectives, and even receive certain orders.

Adaptability:

The Spartans are the grratest trained fighting force on the planet, and in game one of the easily used. The are great in melee, good a ranged, are durable, can use the Magnus and receive orders. When all hope fails they can come through. In a word they are, Spartans. Do be careful with their resource management however as you can leave your self vulnerable, and Magnus depleted.

Positioning:

Spartans benefit from careful positioning and the ability to stage units for future charges. Avoiding long charges and utilizing cover to protect these units is crucial.

Resilience:

While not invincible, Spartan Paladins possess amazing armor saves and have the Durability 2 rule, making them difficult to bring down.

Squad Size:

6-man squads are great for mission play, while larger squads are better for maximizing damage output. Either becomes very strong with an Ulthwan added.

Vulnerability:

While powerful, they lack staying power and numbers, and the normal armor is not as advanced as a Razium, but the Spartan cape really helps with incoming fire, even for Federation soldiers.

Key Units and Roles:

Spartan Paladins:

The Spartan Paladins are an elite, melee-focused section of the Federation Army, that excels in close combat and objective control. They are incredibly resilient, and have very powerful attacks that allow them to dominate the midfield game. While they can struggle against heavily shooting-focused armies, their strength in the Magnus, melee and objective play makes them a formidable part of any Federation force.

Ulthwan:

Ulthwan are Ogres, and they are not boneheads! They can be attached to squads  and with high armor and the durability 2 rule can tank incoming fire, allowing your Federation soldiers to survive and take objectives, or get them in combat where even the normal soldiers shine!

LOK’s and Mages:

Loks can unleash the most powerful magic abilities to buff their own units, debuff enemy units, or directly inflict damage.

Berzerk Ogres and Taskmasters:

Support units that can provide screening, and a crushing wall of muscle on a charge when used. Their resiliance also allows for other tactical advantages.
